My Story of Photography
For much of my adult and teen life I have been blessed with the opportunity to have traveled around the US, Europe, Asia, Australia, and lived abroad when my husband served in the Army. I'm excited about the opportunity to capture your love story wherever it unfolds. I'd be thrilled to capture your wedding by weaving together my personal blend of documentary with editorial flair by creating a timeless narrative of your special day. I love playing with light and shadow and slowing shutter and using old techniques to create beautiful art with your day as the inspiration.
With over a decade of experience and a passion for fashion and art, I bring a unique perspective to each wedding I photograph. Enriched by my college degree in fashion merchandising, adding to the basics in photography I learned at school, working over 250 weddings as an Associate and second photographer, I've cultivated a unique eye for detail and composition.

In my daily life I am home with my 3 kids and my husband. Outside of photography I have been experimenting in my yard/garden with different seeds and native plants for over a decade. I have a fig tree and an American wisteria vine that I am very proud of. I love venturing around Loudoun County, going into DC to explore the museums or one of the MANY historical locations or restaurants. I love spending time with friends. I also always look forward to the times I get to see my extended family who is scattered around the country in the midwest, south, and west coast and anywhere they might want to meet up in the world!
